He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie King (Hureau) and Henry King; his former wife Roberta King (MacEachen); and his family Paul Henry King. He is survived by: his wife Pauline King; his children, Raymond King, Fred, Cathy King, Helen (King) and Art Coakley; and his sibling's children, Allison, Debbie, Doreen, Vanda, Paul and Cara.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ja Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish (1288 Bedford Hwy, Bedford, NS B4A1C8).
