It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Ethel Wellwood of Belnan, Nova Scotia, born in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 4, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Dares and Ethel Dares; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Wellwood; her brother Gordon; and her siblings-in-law, Doug Benvie and Marion Dares.

She is survived by : her husband Harold; her children, Bill, Debbie Ross (Jason) and Gays River; her grandson Alex Wellwood (Kara) of Bay Bulls, NL; her children, Kennedy Wellwood and Emily Ross; and her sister Edna Benvie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Phyllis's family ask that you donate to the ALS Society of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Easter Seals or Riverview United Church.
