It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence May Carter (Berwick, Nova Scotia), born in Aylesford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Keddy and Nellie Keddy (Turner); her husband Gordon; her sons, David and Lindsay; her daughters-in-law, Frances and Freda; and her siblings, Esther, Alfred, Morris, Henry, Gordon, Dorn and Alden.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Hiltz (Gerry) and Michael Carter (Louise); her sister Marguerite Field; her sister-in-law Linda Keddy; and her grandchildren, Heather Wagner (Gregory), Angela Shay (Allan), Megan Hiltz (Tom Power), Margot Hiltz, Rebecca Parks (Robert), Janice Carter (Shawn Scott), Lori Carter (Nick Tropéa), Andrew Carter (Lynn Coxhead), Erin Carter (Adam Armstrong) and Michelle Carter (David Strenger). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many special and kind, friends.
