With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Balcom of Berwick, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 30, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her son Brian Balcom; and her brother Harley Chute. She is survived by : her children, Betty Ann Balcom and Allen Balcom (Joan); the father of her children Robert Balcom (Jean); her grandchildren, Dezaray Balcom-Winkelman, Cody Ray Balcom-Winkelman, Kristopher Balcom and Krena Carey (Bryce); her aunts, Florence Carter, Somerset and Marguerite Field; and her sister-in-law Myrtle Chute. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions services will be held at a future date.

Donations in memory may be made to the Berwick Cemetery.
