He was predeceased by : his father Roger Salsman. He is survived by : his mother Violet Cleveland of Cambridge; his sisters, Leisa Maillet (Mike) of Halifax and Angela Salsman (Dwight Mapplebeck) of Black Rock; his nephew Keegan Salsman (Madison Leblanc) of Somerset; his nieces, Kelsey Salsman (Darren McBay) of Coldbrook, Hannah Maillet of Halifax and Hillary Maillet of Halifax; his great-nieces, Summer, Georgia and Evalynn; and his close friends, Sonia Bruce, Dale and Goucher.

Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
