He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Emery Reeves and Helen Beatrice Reeves (Reese); and his siblings, June, David, Louise, Anne and Kenneth.

He is survived by : his wife Flora Reeves (Shaw); his nephew Ronny; his great-niece Nancy; his sister-in-law Joanne Whynacht; his stepsons, Blake Wile (Wendy), Mark Wile (Staci Lynn), Illinois and Stephen Wile of Los Angeles, California; and his stepgrandchildren, Jaclyn, Jeralyn (Wile), Griffin and Mikelle Wile of Calgary, Alberta.. He is also survived by numerous other cousins, nephews and nieces.
