She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Gallant and Bessie Gallant (Rafuse). She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck"; her children, Shawna McManus (Doug McLaren), Gail Oakley (Fairview), Cathy McCarthy (Annapolis Valley) and Bev Munro; and her sister Barb Harnish. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
