He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ervin and Myrtle Ervin; his brothers, Randall and Barry Ervin; and his mother-in-law Adeline Smith.
He is survived by: his close friend Kathy Smith (Kate); his niece Ann Levangie; his siblings, Bruce (Janet), Greg (Barb), Brenda Levangie and Wendy Williams (Donald); and his siblings-in-law, Joan, Christine, Karen Delaney, Sandy Smith and Dale Paris.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. W. Angus Funeral Home (256 King St, New Glasgow, NS B2H4X8).
It is requested that there be no flowers, but donations can be made to the SPCA (Pictou County) or to the Aberdeen Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit).
