Cyril Williamson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cyril Williamson of Blacketts Lake, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cyril Williamson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Williamson and Sarah Ann Williamson (Hickman); his wife Ivy (Pitcher); his daughter Brenda Williamson; and his siblings, George of Blackett's Lake, Fred, Reg and Sally.

He is survived by: his sister Pearl MacKeigan; his daughter Susan Williamson; his grandchildren, Christa Trainor (Tommy), Lindsey MacDonald (Gerald), Alicia Odo (Wayne), Jessica MacDonald (Kyle), Caleb Lloyd (Stephanie), Cyril MacDonald (Kailin), Breanna Lloyd (Scott) and Dakota Lloyd; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Mya, Sofie, Ryan, Owen, Kayson, Crew, Zoey, Quinnleigh, Russell, Lillian, Liam, Murphy, Hudson and Gregory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Miners Memorial Manor or a charity of your choice.
