She was predeceased by : her parents, Elias LeBlanc and Catherine LeBlanc (Devoe); her husband Benjamin Thurbide; her children, Margaret and George; her siblings, Beatrice, Grace, Bertha, Violet, Olive, Goldie, Ninette, Shirley, Bennie, Irvin, Lesley, Elmer and George; her brother-in-law Gerald; her son-in-law Gordon Power; and her friend Charles.
She is survived by : her children, Carl Thurbide (Carol Ann), Elmer Thurbide (Ruth Ann), Sylvia (late Gordon), Marie Donovan (Peter) and Brenda Finney (Darryl). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
