She was predeceased by : her parents, George Ferguson and Audrey Ferguson (King); and her brother-in-law Greg Taylor. She is survived by : her significant other Bill; her children, Shawn Taylor (Emma) and Ashley Nunn (Christopher); her grandchildren, Olivia, Jameson, Theodore and Eloise; her sisters, Nancy O'Toole (Brian) and Denise Newell; her siblings-in-law, Roger Taylor (Sherry), Ricky Taylor, Mora Stewart (David) and Sandra Taylor; and her nieces and nephews, Stephen, David, Justin, Jessica, Lindsey Taylor, Taylor Stewart, Ryan and Lauren Readman.
To honour her immensely kind-hearted nature, the family asks for donations be made to the Palliative Care Unit or the Patient Care Fund at Cape Breton Regional Hospital in memory of Karen Taylor.
