She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Carey and Emma Carey (LeBlanc); her husband Joseph; her brothers, Ernest LeBlanc, Emile, Robert and Dennis Carey; and her grandson George.
She is survived by : her children, Adrian (Gloria), Terry (Brenda), Ronnie (Angela) and Mary Ann (Harold Marsh); her grandchildren, Cathy Lynn (Dennis Howley), Joey (Keshia), Tony (Nelson), Vickey (Mark Shepherd), Leigh (Cynthia), Kody, Erin (Connor), Dana, Emily, Andrew and Mary Claire Marsh; her great grandchildren, Linden, Logan, Morgan, Ethan, Carver, Nicholas, Owen and Brayden; her brothers, Joe Carey (Budsie) and Terrance (Sander); her siblings-in-law, Muriel, Margaret (Peg), Marie, Doreen and Bernie; and her caregivers, Mary, Mabel, Millie, Mom and Miners Manor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a 50-person capacity with Covid-19 restrictions and social distancing in affect.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Adult Day Program at Harbourview Hospital, or the Bras d'Or Elementary School Breakfast Program, which held a special place in Mom's heart.
