She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Day and Patricia Day; her parents-in-law, Leonard and Catherine Carey; and her brother-in-law Michael Carey.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey Bond (Derek), Brian Matthew (Danielle) and Gerard (Erika); her grandchildren, Maddox, Grayson, Sadie, Remi, Alice and Jett; her siblings, Urbie (Kim), Michelle (Hugh), Darrell (Donna), Todd (Debbie) and Lorraine; her sisters-in-law, Maureen (Michael), Pauline, Geraldine and Joan (Art); and her significant other Brian Carey.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (162 Church Rd, Little Bras D'or, NS B1Y2Y2). A reception was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Bras D'Or Hall Church.
