It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Una Liane Newton (Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 8, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Con Newton; and her sons, Gordon and Glen Newton. She is survived by : her siblings, Sally Polley, Ann Marie McIntyre, Johnnie and Sandy MacLellan; her grandchildren, Lindsay Newton, Conrad Newton, Tania Janega, Terri Charlong and Tina Newton; and her close friend Shirley Doublett. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
