We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2020, Bertha Calvina Jefferson (Bridgetown, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Blanche Piggott and Calvin Piggott; her husband Harold "Ike" Jefferson; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine Piggott, Jean Riddy, Kaye Muise, Daisy Buckler and Harry Jefferson.

She is survived by : her brother William Piggott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many new "awfully cute" great grandnephew/nieces.

A formal service will be held to celebrate Calvina's life, when service arrangements can be safely held post-pandemic.

Donations in memory can be made to the Bridgetown Baptist Church, the Red Cross or a charity of your choice.
