Dorothy Joyce Rice Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2021, at the age of 92, Dorothy Joyce Rice (Bridgetown, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Marshall and Gladys Marshall (Mailman); her former life partner Barrie Cummings; her husband Larry Rice; her children, Randy Cummings and Shelia Cummings; her grandson Nicholas Doucette; her great grandchild Jaylyn Layton; and her siblings, Marion, Allan and George.
She is survived by : her children, Brian Cummings (Debby), Granville Ferry, Linda McCaul (Rodney), Delaps Cove, Susan Cummings (Natalie), Port Wade, Sandra Doucette and Black Rock; her daughter-in-law Donna Cummings; and her grandchildren, Scott, Tasha, Bruce, David, Lisa, Steven, Sally, Sarah, Barrie and Cassie. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a funeral service will be held at a later date.
Donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to the Annapolis Community Health Centre.
