She was predeceased by : her parents, Elwood Oliver and Kathleen Oliver (Guest); and her siblings, Maxine Hudson, Floyd, Kenneth, Garnet, Elwood Jr. and Harold.

She is survived by : her husband Rufus "Scotty" McGilchrist; her children, Donald of Halls Harbor, Danny (Pat) of Bridgetown and Cheryl Lloyd (Dale) of Berwick; her grandchildren, Andrea Coolen (Mike) and Scott; her great grandchildren, Ella Elizabeth and Madi Viola; and her sisters, Viola, Joan, Marie and Lorraine.
