He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Leslie Hayden and Vivian Ruth Kaye (Ring); his stepfather John "Ellsworth" Kaye; his siblings, Evelina, Elizabeth, Frank, Alvin, Nita and Susan; and his great grandchild Trenidy.

He is survived by : his wife Sandra (Sabean); his sons, Loran 'John' (Naomi), Frank (Tina) and Ralph (Kemberley); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Leeanne, Jarod, Brittany, Shianne and Timothy; and his sisters, Dorothy and Phillis. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Donations in Loran's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
