He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Hudson and Elizabeth Hudson (Oliver); his son Norman; and his siblings, Hester Cosman, Helen Sarty, Denny Oliver and Douglas Andrews.

He is survived by: his wife Marion (Hudson); and his daughters, Marilyn Hudson and Susan Hudson.
