He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Amero and Sadie Amero (Gavel). He is survived by: his wife Gladys Amero; his children, Tabitha (Wayne), Jacqueline (Duane), Veronica, Joseph (Shirley), Crystal (Shawn) and April (Derek); his grandchildren, Shelby, Alexander (Alex), John Paul (Megan), Darla (Waylon), Brock (Leslie), Joseph (Denise), Zachery, Jericho (Hanna), Samantha (Corey), Josh, Cheyanne, Dominick and Julia; and his great grandchildren, Yeshua, Eisha, Brynlee, Shiloh, Owen, Hershey and Wesley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the South Range Christian Church (3901 Sissiboo Rd, Barton, NS B0W1H0).
