It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Norma Nixon (Bridgetown, Nova Scotia), born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her siblings, Vera Gabora, Doris "Sis" Warren, Margaret MacDonald, Shirley Duveau, Barbara Fox, Murray Veno and Paul Veno; her siblings-in-law, Margaret Rose Cleveland, Lorraine Poole and Jim Peppard; her granddaughter Amanda; and her parents, Louis Maurice "Murray" and Myra Veno.
She is survived by : her husband Bill; her sons, Stephen (Cheryl), Joel, Graham (Marva) and Colin; her grandchildren, Teagan (Gerry Turnbull), Adam (Taylor Anne O'Connor), Trevor, Taren, Ben and Chloe (Jared Kilkenny); her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Olivia Turnbull and Nixon Butler; her siblings, Joyce Taylor (Bob), Charles Veno (Betty), John Veno (Huguette), Anne Comeau (Hector) and Joan Doucet (Gerry); and her siblings-in-law, Georgina Peppard, Wesley Cleveland and Bob Poole. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would also ask that if anyone wishes to do so, to please make a donation in Phyllis Nixon's name to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia (Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia).
