She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Gertrude and Wallace Oakes; her husband Warren David Hirtle; her brothers, Everett Oakes, Norman Oakes, Carl and William Oakes; her son Billy; and her children-in-law, Frank James and Elizabeth Hirtle.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Elizabeth), Linda James (Ken), Brian (Ann) and Gary (Carol). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
