She was predeceased by : her parents, Geneva Getson (Hayes) and Herbert Getson of LaHave; and her brother Carvel Getson (Ivy). She is survived by : her children, Susan (Gary) and Paul; her grandchildren, Chris (Maria), Ryan, Kyle (Chelsea), Andrea (Tyler) and Geneva (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Camden, Olivia, Jacob and Parker. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VON, West Side United Church, the South Shore Regional Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
