She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Meisner and Queenie Meisner (Baker); her husband Merrill Sarty; her mother-in-law Eva Sarty (Wile); her siblings, Clement and Arlean; and her grandson Jason.
She is survived by: her children, William (Katrina), Warren (Patricia), Joan (Blair) and Julia (Derrick); her grandchildren, Adam, Justin, Jacob, Tegan, Billy, Shawna, Jordan and Candace; her stepgrandchildren, Theresa and Jason; and her brothers, Phillip (Karen) and Basil (Carolyn).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home (35 York St, Bridgewater, NS B4V1R2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (25 Phoenix St, Bridgewater, NS B4V1M7).
Donations in Claribel's memory may be made to the South Shore Hospice Palliative Care Society or a charity of choice.
