She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Townsend and Myrtle Townsend (Stephens); her brothers, William Townsend and Ivan Murray Townsend; and her brothers-in-law, Wilfred Chetwynd and Robert Bradley.

She is survived by: her husband Cedric Lowe; her daughters, Teena (Terry) and Suzette (Harry); her grandchildren, Tara (Matt) and Kory (Tamara); her great grandchild Wyatt; her siblings, Muriel, Leola and Lyall; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley and Carol. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
