She was predeceased by: her parents, Robie William and Letha Angeline Connolly (Whynot); her husband Lowell LeRoy Getson; her son-in-law Wade Wamback; and her siblings, Elsie Wolfe, Kathleen Sprague, Shirley Brown, Rosabelle Whitfield, Lione, William, James and Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Wamback, Martha Dolliver (Eric) of Blockhouse, Richard "Ricky" Getson of Petite Riviere and William "Billy" Getson (Ella Mae); her granddaughters, Laura and Rebecca; her children, Jeremy, Vanessa, Jared, Nigel, Jonathan, Andrew, Elizabeth and Marcus; her great grandchildren, Lucy, Clara and Eli; and her grandchildren, Parker, Antoine, Riley, Charli and Nel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Shore Hospice Palliative Care Society.
