It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Wile of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 14, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gwendolyn Wile to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd R. Corkum and Lillian Corkum (Jenkins); her former husband Dean Getson; her husband Grant Wile; her daughter Tracy; her brothers, Gerald Corkum and Robert A. Corkum; and her grandson Morgan.

She is survived by: her brother Graham (Mary Lou); her stepdaughter June Harahan (Tom); and her stepgrandchildren, Dara and Ryan Hanrahan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to West Side United Church or St. Peter's Cemetery.
