He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Rodenhiser and Eva Rodenhiser (Hirtle); and his siblings, Valson, Aubrey, Bruce, Ralph, Don, Morris, Roger, Olive, Angela and Joan.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Elaine (Gardner); his children, David (Nancy), Vicki-Lynn (Paul) and Jo-Anne Ferrier; his grandchildren, Alex (Sarah), Kate (Bex), Brandan (Robyn), Cale (Julia), Ryland (Agnes) and Alexis (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Finley, Sophie and Oscar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweeney's Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bridgewater United Church (87 Hillcrest St, Bridgewater, NS B4V1T2). A reception was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
