He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ruth (Darrow); his children, Judy Olmstead-O'Regan (James) and Paul Olmstead (Gwen); his grandchildren, Matthew Olmstead (Libby), Brigit O'Regan, Madelyn O'Regan, Alex French and Amber MacDonald (Matthew); his brother Dr. David Olmstead (Elizabeth); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Waugh.
In James' memory may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
