He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simon Grant and Grace Ellen Grant (MacLaren); and his sister Margaret Ellen Puckering. He is survived by: his son Scott (Gabrielle Durepos) of Lucasville, NS; and his nieces, Erika (Jamie Ewing), Monica (Jay Ennis) and Jessica (Chris MacDonald).
