She is survived by: her husband Colin Groves; her son Cameron Groves; her parents, Adella Williams (Denver Williams) and Christopher Abbott (Kim MacEwan); and her brothers, Cole James Abbott (Jordan Laffin) and Nickolas Williams (Amber Williams).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kayla's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
