He was predeceased by: his parents, S. Paul Lantz and Evelyn Lantz (Leary); his granddaughter Sarah E. Lantz; and his siblings, Charles, Pearl Schofield (Rex), Arleen Brown (Harley), Emily Conrod (Cameron), Gladys Rhodenizer (William), Phyllis Himmelman (Edson), Gordon (Annie) and Luetta Joudrey (Keith).
He is survived by: his wife Lila Gladys Lantz (Kaizer); his sons, Russ, Paul (Sue), Kevin (Joan) and Terry (Loretta); his grandchildren, Christopher (Jinath), Jason, John, Stephen (Tammy), Matthew, Michael (Kari), Nathan (Amber), Nicole Lam (Nathan) and Scott; and his great grandchildren, Tara, Josiah, August, Chloe and Clementine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the IWK Children's Hospital, VON, the Canadian Red Cross, or charity of choice.
