It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael James Paddock of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Paddock and Marjory Paddock (Bangay). He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; his son Willard Paddock (Amanda); and his stepsons, Steven, Randy and Sheldon Melanson. He is also survived by four brothers; and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
