He is survived by: his children, Heather Ann Slade of Bridgewater, NS and Eric Slade of Bridgewater, NS; his grandchildren, Jacadie Day (Carrie) of Greenwood, NS, Jolie Day of Grand-Falls, NL and Jaylyn Day of Mahone Bay, NS; his great grandchild Maverick Youden of Mahone Bay, NS; and his brother Wilson Slade.
