He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Roy Decker and Doris Irene Sailor (Wamback); his daughter Laura LeAnne; and his sister Kathryn. He is survived by: his children, Shannon and Richie of East Jordan; his grandchildren, Breanna, Joel-Ryan and Jayden; his great grandchild Eli; and his brothers, Chris (Loretta) of New Minas and Jim (Yvonne) of Lake John. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to the IWK Hospital in Halifax.
