He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Bearne and Margaret Bearne (Thompson); his brother-in-law Donald Muir; his nephew Robert Muir; and his sister-in-law Ethel Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Joan Smith of Windsor; his children, Stephen (Kelly) and Stephanie Dowe (John); his grandchildren, Zachary, Katherine, Christopher, Noah and Sophie; his sister June Muir; his brother-in-law Sidney Smith; and his nephews, Jim Muir, Richard Smith and David Muir.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM.
