He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Saunders and Jean Saunders; and his sister Theresa Saunders (Grant Young). He is survived by: his wife Beverley Richardson; his stepson Guy Sack Tina; and his siblings, Bruce Saunders (Shu Qi), Janet Saunders (Jeff Oskam), Peter Saunders (Louise Pearn) and Andrea Gaspar (Joselito Gaspar). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Canada in memory of a life well lived.
