He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Mader and Virginia Mader (Tanner); and his siblings, Marilyn, Doris, Carol Ann and David.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Trisha (Nick) and Cory (Shelby); his grandchildren, Ella Margaret and Oliver Theodore; and his siblings, Ivan, Gordon (Thelma), Ross, Dennis (Wendy), Richard, Eric (Annette), Allen (Valerie), Barrie (Ken), Dawn, Faye (Darrell Penney), Judith (Joseph Mullins), Patricia, Dianne, Kimberley and Teddy.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Epworth United Cemetery (131 School St, New Germany, NS B0R1E0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice.
