He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Morton and Lucretia Morton (Connolly); his wife Ruby; his siblings, Faye Suthern, Lyle Morton and Shirley Wolf; his nephew Michael Suthern; his nieces, Carol Suthern and Laurie Suthern; his stepdaughter Geraldine Lockhart; his stepgrandchildren, Joseph MacKinnon, Benjamin Atkinson and Denise Jack; and his grandfather George.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Charlene Morton, Armand Morton, Gordon Suthern, Karen Harling (Suthern) and Joan Suthern; and his children, Wendy Mailman (Gary), Colpton, Wanda Beattie (Brian), Dalhousie, Penny Myler (David), Canaan, Randy Ernst (Della), New Germany and Bonnie Meldrum (Tommy). He is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren, many step-great and step great-great grand children.
