She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hiltz and Violet Hiltz (Morrow); her former husband Paul Thomas; and her siblings, Bill, Earl, Jim Hiltz and Charlotte Pierce.

She is survived by: her husband William S. Briner; her children, Christopher "Brett" Thomas (Meagan) and Erin Walker (Chad); her grandchildren, Courtney, Abigail, Kephren and Kylie; her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Violet, Penelope, Charlotte and Ellaya; her siblings, Butch Hiltz (Jean), Mary Lockwood (Lloyd), Marleen Eisner (Rob) and Susan Watton (Kenny); and her brother-in-law Lester Pierce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
