He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Toot" Cochrane and Margaret Cochrane (Cochrane); his sister Krista; and his parents-in-law, Harold and Daisy.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Tracey (Sherri) and Jason (Angela); his grandson Jayden; his brothers, Andy (Jill) and Doug (Michelle); and his siblings-in-law, Sharon (David) and Barry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Dennis may be made to Brooklyn Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 136, Newport, NS B0N 2A0, where he proudly served his community as a firefighter and captain for many years, and was a proud veteran member, or a charity of your choice.
