With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Marie (Marks) Brannon of Caledonia, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on May 16, 2026 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Marks and Gladys Marks (Bainbridge); and her husband John Brannon. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Nicole and Lisa; her great grandchild Nicholas of Sudbury; her brother Alexander "Sonny" Marks; her nieces, Nancy Keizer (Robert), Wanda Marks and Tina Marks (Shawn Janczewski); her great-nephew Nicholas; and her great-niece Alexandra.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Homes (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Red Cross or charity of your choice.
