She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Keddy and Mary Keddy (Turner); her husband Calvin; her son Tony; and her siblings, Eva, Leona, Rosalie, Effie, Vera, Gladys, Hibbert, Norman and Harry.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Martin (Chuck) of Aylesford and Alan MacDearmid (Debbie Charlton) of Victoria Vale; and her sister Goldie Burns of Berwick. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.
Donations in Velma's memory may be made to Parker Hall, Victoria Vale Baptist Church or North Queens Nursing Home.
