He was predeceased by: his parents, Obadiah MacInnis and Leona MacInnis (Corkum); his children, Beverly "Bev" MacInnis and Sarah "Sally" MacInnis; his grandson Ronald MacInnis; and his siblings, Stacy, Arthur, Sylvia, Arlene and Donna.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa MacInnis (Greene); his children, Richard, Ronald, Paul (Lucinda), Ellen Vaughn (John), Elaine Thorne (Darren) and Roseann MacInnis (Dave Murray); his grandchild Jamie; his stepchildren, William Greene (Shelly) and Cindy Greeno (John); his siblings, Gerald (Linda), Howard (Christina), Arnold, John (Darlene), Charles (Linda), David, Muriel Barkhouse, Freda Hill (Donald), Daisy Morgan, Ruby Benjamin and Mary Barkhouse (Murray); and also Teresa. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
