She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawson Rhynold and Ruth Rhynold (Kane); her husband Avard Miles Palmer; her children, Gary Palmer and Jennifer Palmer; her son-in-law Bruce Keddy; her grandsons, Christopher and Cory Palmer; and her siblings, Paul, Douglas Rhynold and Helen.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Molloy (Gary), Nancy Milsom (John), Lynda Eddy (John), Donna Benjamin and Michael Palmer; her siblings, Joan Fraser (Bill), Kenny Rhynold (Charlotte), Mona Dalton (Gerald) and Allen Rhynold (Pat); and her close friend Lawrence MacKinley. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
