She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rafuse and Hulda Rafuse (DeMille); her husband Sheldon Brown; her siblings, Golda Kelly, Delores Weisner, Lochlan "Bud" Rafuse and Leon Rafuse; and her grandson Corey.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Schofield (Randy), Austin Brown (Charlene) and William Brown (Nancy); her grandchildren, Steven, Rhonda, Andrea, Warren, Jenna, Jeremy, Stefan, Kayla and Shelby; her siblings, Rose Sim (Ralph), Sandra Nichols and Ron Rafuse (Sylvia); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Turner. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
