It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Delbert Barkhouse of Canning, Nova Scotia, born in Port Williams, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Barkhouse and Minnie Barkhouse (Bennett); his siblings, Dorothy Pineo, Betty Best and Robert; his stepson Graham Crossman; and his grandson Ricky Barkhouse.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Jim; his wife Donna (Price); his children, Tony (Laura), Leonard "Lenny" (Gail), Terry, Belinda "Sue" (Robert Tupper) and Tammy (Jim Taylor); his stepsons, Lloyd "Keith" Crossman (Eileen) and Bryon Crossman (Noella); his sisters, Anne Hesslegrave and Sharon Greencorn; and his grandchildren, Melinda Benjamin (Steven), Robert "Robb" Tupper (Emma Herman), Kayla Barkhouse (Tyler MacLean), Bree-Anna Barkhouse (Brandon Gaudet), Travis Barkhouse (Karla), Chris Brackett (Carrie Jefferson), Daniel Taylor, Cody Barkhouse, Jessica Crossman, Janna Crossman, Christopher Crossman, Sarah Crossman, Thomas Crossman, Hailey Crossman, Caroline Crossman, Harley Crossman, Michael "Mikey" Crossman, Kody Hartt and Destiny Morris. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
