She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles and Vera (Dorey); her husband J. Donald MacKenzie; her son Tom Morton; her stepson Robert "Bruce" MacKenzie; her daughter-in-law Rita Cyprien; her close friend David Stewart; and her brother Gerald.
She is survived by: her family, Don and Carpets; her children, Carolyn Morton-Busk (David Busk) of White's Lake, David Morton (Carol) of Habitant and Stephen Morton of Pereaux; her stepchildren, Sherry MacKenzie-Jennison (David) of Canaan and Donald "Kirk" MacKenzie (Bonnie Daye) of Shubenacadie; and her daughter-in-law Cathy MacKenzie. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
