She was predeceased by: her parents, David Wood and Annie Wood (Oakden); her sons, Gordon "Gordie" and Wayne Melvin; her siblings, Harold, Shirley, Foster, William "Willie" and Mildred Brown; and her brother-in-law Gordon Brown.
She is survived by: her children, George Melvin (Cheryl), Pereau, Dale Melvin (Barb), Sheffield Mills, Patricia "Theresa" Woolaver (Eric), June Melvin (Marlon Beckford) and Ann Marie Morgan (Kevin); her grandchildren, Danny (Lynn), Brett (Lee Ann), Tyler, Kodey (Mandie), Jeffery (Kathleen), Jesse (Amanda), Kolby, Dustin, Stacie (Kevin), Brandy, Denise (Robbie), Sarah (JR), Jillian, Sheena (Ian), Ashley (Lukeland), Tanya (Jeff), Nichole (Adam) and Shelby (Adrian); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Charlie, Brady, Brooklyne, Kelsea, Jordan, Cohen, Riley, Sophie, Easton, Kyrah, Danique, Lukeland "LJ", Ronique, Markland, Colton, Caleb, Hayden, Kaylee, Adam, Brantley, Madalyn, Ryder, Rayne, Laylah, Adalynn, Blake, Brielle, Aubree and Jaxson; her great great grandchild Parker; and her sisters-in-law, Valetta Wood, Verna Wood, Shirley Wood and Marlene Wood. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
