Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harold Judson Newell of Canso, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 80, on September 18, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Newell and Frances Newell (Swaine); his children, Pearl Frances and Harold Edward; and his siblings, Elsie, Shirley, Cathy, Michael, Bobby and Wayne.

He is survived by: his wife Mary (Bond); his children, Frances Sweeney (Brian), Annapolis Valley, Freda Russell (Mark), Fred (Cherie) and Ronald (Wanda); and his siblings, Mary, Donnalee, Joan, Roberta, Jim, Bill, George, Cecil, Derek, Kevin and Edward. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren + one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Covid-19 guidelines, all attendees will be asked to provide their names and telephone numbers upon arrival at the church. Social distancing protocols are to be followed and masks are mandatory.

Memorial donations may be made in Harold's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of NS.
